We are a specialised joinery company established in 1939 by Henry Godfrey Holliday. Kenneth and Gary Holliday respectively represent the next two generations of the family that have been at the helm.

The company started out in Essex street Woodstock but soon the need arose for bigger premises. In 1970 the company moved to Hewett Avenue Epping which is currently our street address. We joined the Master Builders Association (MBA) in 1939 and in 2009 we received an honorary certificate for 70 years membership.

As a company we have established and prided ourselves on maintaining very high moral and business ethics. Adhering to time constraints in the building industry can be a challenge, but we have managed to do this successfully without ever having to compromise on quality. The result has been that we have been privileged to be involved on very prestigious state contracts like Parliament House, The Castle, The Magistrates Courts as well as Tygerberg and Groote Schuur hospitals. Some of our more recent corporate contracts include the Waterfront apartments , the Convention Centre, as well as very upmarket hotels such as The Arabella Sheraton, Pezula hotel, The Grand Hotel, The Taj Hotel, The Cape Coral hotel, Waterfront Southern Sun, Cullinan Hotel, Kings beach Southern Sun, Eastern Boulevard Southern Sun, Views boutique hotel wilderness and the unprecedented One and Only.

As a company we are committed to provide on-going training and skills development for the upliftment and empowering of individuals as well as communities at large. The company is BEEE level 4 contributor.
